Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Bradfield College is seeking to recruit a Building Surveyor/ Project Manager to support the Capital Projects Manager in delivering the College's Campus Development Framework. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their career in a client-side project management role, working on a diverse range of projects across an impressive estate portfolio.

In 2021 we invested circa £6.5m in four key projects. We are continuing to invest heavily in developing a high-quality, inspiring campus environment and as Project Manager, you will lead, manage and coordinate a range of estate development projects from inception to completion. This unrivalled opportunity will expand your knowledge and experience, working on projects spanning new-build, refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance, with individual projects typically ranging from £100k to £8m in value.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable project management or building surveying experience, having taken responsibility for managing projects in the £100k to £2m value range. You will have strong commercial and technical skills, with experience of contract procurement and management. Experience of working on refurbishment projects in a live, operational environment is critical, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholder groups. Experience of working in the education sector is not essential, however we are seeking candidates that demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the positive impact that buildings and estates can have on creating an inspiring education environment.
