At Brown & Brown, we're looking for a dedicated Business Administrator to join our team and take charge of the design, maintenance, and enhancement of our insurance product documentation. In this role, you'll be instrumental in gathering and documenting business requirements, testing new documentation initiatives, and contributing to the overall design of our documentation suite.

The day to day:

  • The documentation we deliver is best in class for customers and user experience.
  • Keep up to date with developments in the insurance market, to ensure we keep pace with our customers changing needs.
  • Work closely with Product Mangers, Underwriting, Marketing, Sales, and Compliance to ensure all documentation is technically accurate and in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Take part in testing to ensure successful QA of product documentation before production releases, this may also include creation of test plans, documentation, client demos and screen recording of functionality.
  • A hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolution of any bug fixes.
  • Ensure everything is in line with group governance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Preparation of, and maintenance of, training material.
  • Your own personal development plan to ensure your knowledge and skills continually grow and maximise your potential using guidance from the Product Competency Framework
  • Report into the Head of Product you will provide regular updates on your work.
  • Expected to contribute not only to the success of the team, but also to its continuous development.
  • You’ll identify improvements in internal process and work with your teammates to continually assess & implement best practice.
  • Other duties from time to time as determined by the board and senior management

About you:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Insurance Documentation Analyst
  • Experience in designing and writing insurance related documentation.
  • Knowledge – Commercial & Personal Lines Insurances.
  • Knowledge of insurance product development lifecycle.
  • Meet deadlines, to multitask and to work accurately and calmly under pressure, and with focus within a fast-paced environment.
  • The nature of our product function requires a consultative approach and the ability to listen to business stakeholders, therefore excellent soft skills and relationship management is essential.
  • Team-orientated working in a collaborative environment.
  • Natural trouble-shooter who is logical and analytical
