Microsoft Business Central Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Central Specialist looking to move to the next stage of their career. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about Business Central and the benefits that it can bring to an organisation. We are ideally seeking someone that has had detailed exposure to Business Central and experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

You will take ownership of the support and change functions for Business Central within the business and will be reporting into the Head of Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the new feature implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with our Business Central partner, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, configuring the system, supporting end-user testing, and ensuring a smooth go-live.
  • System Configuration: Customise and configure Business Central to match the departmental-specific business needs and workflows.
  • Keep up to date with the Microsoft technology suite to improve usage across the business.
  • Integration: Work with the teams to integrate Business Central with other applications in the organisation.
  • User Training and Support: Facilitate training sessions to educate super-users on how to effectively use Business Central and provide ongoing support to resolve any user-related issues and escalate these accordingly if needed.
  • Work with the company's Business Central partner to proactively monitor system performance, identify issues and improvements, and implement necessary updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Troubleshooting and support: In collaboration with service desk support, investigate and resolve technical and functional issues related to Business Central, providing timely solutions to minimise disruptions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes for future reference


Requirements

  • Proven experience as an ERP Analyst ideally in a retail organisation, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Good understanding of ERP concepts, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in basic configuration and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into ERP solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • ERP certifications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications) are a plus.
