The role: As a content editor in the Financial Services team, you will be overseeing digital content across a variety of channels and brands, creating and owning initiatives that drive audience growth and build deeper relationships with consumers and small businesses. You'll collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop and deliver impactful content experiences. What you’ll be doing: Identify, plan and execute engaging content pieces that demonstrate our financial services and business expertise Work collaboratively with the wider customer experience team to implement our content strategy. This includes product designers and engineers to create user-focused copy and seamless customer journeys Build and edit content pages in CMS Write, commission, proofread and edit digital content Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, tone and voice Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure all content is helpful and authoritative and meets search engine best practices Support the CRM team with compelling copy and content for email campaigns  Explore and test new content formats including rich media assets and social media campaigns Work with the PR and outreach teams on external campaigns What you'll bring to the role: Experience in the SME space - market knowledge and expertise, working with or in an environment with SMEs, startups, sole traders or small businesses (experience in the Financial Service Industry would be advantageous) Existing experience with or willingness to learn media training to become a spokesperson for Financial Services and SME Proven experience delivering compelling content across various formats in a digital environment including long-form editorial, short-form website copy, email campaigns and social media posts Experience writing high-quality, engaging copy that’s mobile-first and optimised for SEO Confident writing UX copy; familiar with user journeys, wireframes and transactional content Experience with content management systems and online publishing Knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices Proven ability to manage and execute content campaigns and deliver to a deadline Working knowledge of Google Analytics including basic data analysis and experience reporting on content metrics and KPIs to stakeholder Rich content creation skills (video, infographics) and experience turning copy into compelling visuals You don’t need to tick off everything on this list - so don’t let that hold you back from applying.
