Job Title: Data Business Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 2 days in the office per week)

Role Summary:
Are you an entrepreneurial Data Business Analyst ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our client's IT Team and help create a controlled reporting environment within their company. You will play a key role in promoting a data-focused approach, developing associated standards, processes, and practices, and actively managing their Enterprise Data Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyze current processes for improvements.
- Investigate new innovations and technologies to benefit the company, including constructing and operating proof of concepts.
- Support Power BI and Power App developers while expanding your knowledge in these areas.
- Work closely with the Data Centre of Excellence Manager and the Development team on various tasks and projects as required.
- Stay informed on industry trends and leverage new technologies to meet business objectives.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
- Ability to analyze data and draw business-relevant conclusions.
- Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Basic knowledge of generating process documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Experience working within a Scrum/Agile delivery team responsible for software quality.
- Track record of delivering well-engineered solutions using best practices such as Agile TDD, CI/CD, and peer review.
- Analytical skills to understand business requirements and develop corresponding data requirements.
- Experience with Power BI is beneficial.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline with relevant IT experience.
