Business Development Executive

Full time, permanent

Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home

Salary up to £29,500 FTE pa plus benefits (plus an additional 20% salary bonus on meeting targets)

 

We’re looking for an experience sales or business development executive to join our Business Development team

 

University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. We exist to provide accessible, relevant and cost-effective education which enhances careers, increases professionalism and contributes to a sustainable built environment. Operating from the UK and Hong Kong we have a global reach, and at any one time over 3,500 students are studying online with us. UCEM passed its first ever inspection by Ofsted with flying colours after earning an overall rating of ‘Good’ in November 2021.

 

We need you to join our fast paced and dynamic Business Development team. We are looking for someone who is confident and experienced in a similar role to help drive student and apprentice numbers as part of our Business to Business (B2B) sales process. You will be responsible for developing new business relationships and managing our new and existing clients.

Your key responsibilities will centre around:

  • Ensure accuracy of client data within CRM
  • Achieve and exceed set targets for apprentices and sponsored students
  • Maintain accurate meeting pipeline reports for weekly meetings with your line manager
  • Provide timely and professional responses to client enquiries
  • Conduct high quality outbound calls to identify opportunities
  • Monitor the Business Development inbox

To deliver these responsibilities we need your excellent customer relations and sales skills.  You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and a good knowledge of apprenticeships.
