They have a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and flexible sales culture allowing people to work from home one day a week. They believe in hiring people who can and do take ownership of their role/responsibilities.

The Role of Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager

As Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager you will join the company's flagship £4m annual portfolio which includes a news-led website (which has appreciated 80% YOY revenue growth) and a series of conferences (which have doubled YOY revenues). Suffice to say, it is a very high performing portfolio with a clearly defined and successful strategy in place and that translates into strong commission earning potential!

Despite generating £4m in annual revenues, the company has identified a market opportunity exceeding £10m per annum....so there is plenty of growth still to do!

Day to day, you will be tasked with selling conference sponsorship opportunities and digital advertising solutions (lead generation based campaigns and branded content). You will be selling primarily to tech clients and consultancies.

Requirements for this Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager

  1. 2-8 years experience of selling conference sponsorship or digital advertising solutions
  2. A grafter who is able to take ownership of their role/responsibilities
  3. A very high level of articulation and confidence
  4. A proven track-record of generating new business
  5. A stable career history
  6. An energetic, outgoing, strong relationship builder who is open to learning new ways of working
