As BDB continues to grow rapidly in EMEA, we are looking to add to our Growth & Client Services team.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Growth & Client Services Team to support the growth of our EMEA business. This role will be responsible for supporting new business for Billion Dollar Boy. They will report directly to our New Business Director and the role will be based in London.

As a Business Development Manager at BDB, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow our client base. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is not afraid to take risks and thinks outside the box to get things done. We are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial minded and results-oriented Sr Business Manager.

You must have a good understanding of Advertising / Marketing and a genuine passion for creators / influencer marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with New Business Director and Head of Clients in addition to regular contact with the Client Services and Marketing & PR Teams, to deliver on business objectives and driving cohesive growth & new business strategies

  • Create and cultivate new client leads and convert them into business opportunities

  • Help push and grow BDB’s offerings and evolution, working closely with clients and seeking out new opportunities

  • Serve as liaison between clients and our internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Account Management, Finance, etc.) throughout the sales process

  • Maintain a high level of performance at all times

  • Provide excellent client service and superior communication

  • Oversee individual sales and new business performance, including reporting on:

Weekly reporting on client relationships, opportunities, plans and meetings

Growth and Leads pipeline

Monthly reporting on sales plan targets and KPI’s

Skills & Attributes

  • 3+ years of direct experience in a strategic level sales and/or business development role

  • Have contacts and knowledge in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, automotive, food & beverage and tech industries

  • Demonstrated success in producing results against company-wide objectives and targets

  • Experience selling to heads of marketing, social media, communications, public relations, etc

  • Familiarity with Sales CRM (SalesForce, etc)

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, creative, entrepreneurial environment

  • Self starter with excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to understand our clients’ unique needs, build trust, and establish rapport

  • Travel as necessary for clients meetings, industry events and networking opportunities

  • Understanding of marketing landscape, particularly on digital and social platforms, a plus
