Expanding Outdoor Media organisation with a unique and expanding portfolio of digital and ambient outdoor media products using state of the art technology.

Scotland (Field based anywhere in Scotland)

The Client

  • Provide innovative business to consumer advertising solutions to a range of Media Agencies, Blue Chips and SMEs.

  • Have a client list across a number of sectors including leisure, lifestyle, fashion, retail, entertainment, property and careers.

The Role

  • This is initially a new business role selling a range of outdoor media solutions.
  • Once on board, you will liaise with existing clients, developing the relationships, establishing their advertising needs and providing solutions.
  • Sourcing leads and setting up appointments.
  • Dealing with incoming leads.
  • Clients will include SME and corporate clients from a range of sectors.
  • You will complete the full sales cycle.
  • Closing sales over the phone and face to face (remote & in person).
  • You will maintain an understanding of their market and will have the support and back up of strong case studies and marketing information to ensure sales success.

  • Approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business.
  • Retaining & growing existing customers' spend.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
  • Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales.
  • Gathering market and customer information.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to exceed revenue targets.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

The Candidate

To apply, ideally you will require:

  • Experience of selling outdoor, radio, TV or a similar portfolio of advertising solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit required for a young dynamic and ambitious business.
  • A solid understanding of the sales process and solution-based selling.
  • Demonstrable high activity rate and a desire to overachieve.
  • PC literacy, creativity and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness, motivation and enthusiasm with an ethical approach to sales.
  • Tenacity to drive sales forward coupled with a real desire to work in the outdoor media industry.
  • You will be ambitious, accountable, articulate, proactive and a quick-thinking team player.
