BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/SALES MANAGER – TECHNOLOGY LOCATION: London, UK HIRE TYPE: Full-time EXPERIENCE: New sales/ business development, selling technology or consulting services/solutions to eCommerce, Retail, B2B, Travel, Manufacturing industry VERTICAL: eClerx Digital Role Summary This role in our EMEA team is a unique opportunity that allows you to drive business development of our Technology product portfolio in the EMEA region. We are conducting a search for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated candidate who has proven experience in selling out-of-box or custom platforms combined with a services delivery model. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and should have previous work experience in the technology, analytics, big data, and/or consulting services industry in either BD / Sales / Consulting role. The successful applicant will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through closure. We are looking for a seasoned, success-oriented individual with a proven record of exceeding sales targets, a high level of commitment, and a strong desire to be part of a top-notch sales team. Key Responsibilities Leverage and build a regional and industry network to identify new client and sales opportunities for the Technology product portfolio. See the sample list of platforms below - Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings, and other business issues relevant to the position Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to initial contact, nurturing and relationship-building all the way through to close Partner internally with eClerx Product and Center of Excellence team, Solution Strategist, and Pre-sales team to identify the right eClerx platforms addressing the client requirement, and respond to new sales opportunities (from existing contacts or generated sales leads) Lead demo of the eClerx platforms with the client Provide inputs to the eClerx Product and CoE team for their technology roadmap based on learning from market and client discussions Managing a pipeline of Technology sales opportunities across eCommerce, Retail, B2B, Travel, Manufacturing, and other related industry vertical Work with the marketing team to build innovative campaigns to generate organic leads Sample List of eClerx Platforms Roboworx: end to end Robotic Process Automation platform as a service with AI modules Merchandiser+: Product Data Management Platform to simplify and accelerate new product launches through better data aggregation, product build, and data flows to clients' ERPs and digital channels Fluiid4: Marketer workflow & DAM platform built for the most demanding fashion brands and retailers to manage images, 360s, and CGI creative assets Market360⁰: Digital shelf analytics platform enabling insights and optimization actions of online buyer journey across online marketplaces & retailer websites Optiprice: Price management platform recommending optimal pricing and discount for online and in-store products Eligibility Requirements Rich experience in  new business development/sales experience Proven ability to be able to generate revenue GBP 1 million+ per year Experience selling technology or consulting services/solutions to eCommerce, Retail, B2B, Travel, Manufacturing, and other related industry vertical Experience selling and building relationships at all levels of seniority from day-to-day management to "C" level contacts Experience in short and long-term sales processes, selling complex solutions to multiple contacts Well-organized, self-motivated with exceptional communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; MBA preferred The ideal candidate will be based in London or within a 1-2 hour commute Applicants must have the right to work in the UK ​#LI-NP1
