Are you a well-versed Business Director with a wealth of experience in B2B, Channel Marketing and ABM? If so, this is for you.
Our client is an independent global B2B player within the Technology and B2B space have a fantastic reputation for creating some of the most strategic, targeted and results driven ABM campaigns for some very famous, global technology clients.
Due to ongoing success, we are seeking an experiences Business Director who is able to manage and grow their Channel Marketing and Partnership part of the business.
This is a leadership role in the agency and a fantastic opportunity to run and grow your own business unit.
You will be supported by a well versed and trusted team of account handlers to ensure that you are able to deliver for your clients.
To be suitable for this role you must be able to operate at C suite level as well as have a background in an integrated marketing agency, within B2B, ABM and Channel Marketing.
As well as be comfortable setting up and leading a team.
Due to the nature of this role, as you will be liaising at c suite level you will also be expected to continue to unlock new opportunities within the client portfolio, whilst developing new and meaningful relationships.
Although the agency is based in Reading you will be able to split your time between working from home and being in the office. You should expect to be in the office between 2-3 days per week. Certainly, to begin with as more and more of your team tend to be office based.
CORE SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Client relationships – act as trusted partner and advisor, have a thorough understanding of the client’s business objectives and aspirations, encourage deeper conversations around potential opportunities, navigate issue resolution with clients and senior stakeholders
Highly experienced in Channel Marketing / Partnerships within the B2B, ABM and Tech marketing sectors.
Business Acumen - gain a clear understanding of the client’s business from a strategic and business context in order to identify, develop and offer the client the best possible creative solutions to their business’s problem
Commercial Acumen - have an informed view of the commercial implications of both internal decisions and external influences, at a micro (project) and macro (account) level with the ability to maturely engage with clients and internal stakeholders on commercial topics as well as problem solve where needed to protect the interests of the agency and the relationship.
Team management – inspire, mentor, motivate and guide your team for exceptional delivery of high-quality work
Collaboration – have a proactive and influential approach in ensuring senior stakeholders across the agency are engaged with the ambition and resource their team requires to support the ambition of work. Knowledgeable about how to manage key mid-level stakeholders in the client organisation to protect and promote the agencies ambitions.
Problem solving and decision making – able to take a holistic view of the projects or activities you/your team are working on to identify future opportunities and risks. Able to think and act decisively as required to problem solve fast, understanding where leadership support is needed.
Based on experience, our client is offering a very competitive salary ranging between £85k - £100k plus benefits.
