Role/Department:

This role sits in the Asset Servicing, Technology Servicing and Solution Business Management Function and will incorporate Business Management, Data Analytics and Financial Analysis.

This role is suitable for somebody who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic function working across a multiple range of diverse initiatives.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Core Member of the business management function which will support senior execs across a wide-range of deliverables around business management, data analytics and financial analysis
  • Track core financials/expense management and ensure senior management has information needed to make key decisions on moving forward with key initiatives
  • Create comprehensive, interactive, automated reports of financial data for client customization work
  • Digital consulting and ability to utilize analytical tools and data visualization platforms for data analysis and reporting, Power BI and Alteryx
  • Problem solving and working directly with financial information to drive meaningful analysis, reports and presentations for senior management
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting for expenses
  • Coordinate the quarterly, monthly and/or weekly MIS deliverables working in cooperation with the different businesses to pull the key messages and updates. Additionally will review the overall presentation of the MIS and provide feedback on enhancing to meet deliverables
  • Partner with Sr Business Manager or CAO to develop a robust governance structure and process, management reporting and business processes as appropriate for the oversight of the business and the discussion of key issues.
  • Develop and implement processes to automate manual processes to enhance efficiencies
  • Write and build strong materials to represent the group internally and externally, i.e.. powerpoint presentations, publication copy
  • Communicate complex and important messages to key stakeholders in a succinct fashion and act as key point of contact with the many stakeholders for the broader asset servicing organization
  • Assisting with adhoc initiatives and presentations and propose potential solutions across a wide range of initiatives
  • Will interact daily with the different businesses within the practice with specific requests to help support the day to day operating of the business
  • Supports offsites and all staff meetings and other events ensuring materials and agenda are completed along with follow-ups.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas and analysis to senior management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI, Alteryx, financial acumen and ability to analyze/evaluate financial data
  • Proven track record of interfacing with a wide range of people and have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong business writing and editing skills - ability to take complex/technical content and simplify for a non-technical audience
  • Strong powerpoint skills - ability to decipher key messages create slides that deliver poignant information with creativity starting from paragraphs of information or with very little direction
  • Demonstrable success with executive-level initiatives, complex problem analysis and resolution, and handling multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously to deadline
  • A strategic and creative thinker, able to generate ideas and influence senior management
  • Comfortable with data, able to identify risks and opportunities and react accordingly
  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, across multiple regions
  • Proficient across the Microsoft Office application suite
