Unique opportunity to join a leading professional organisation as their Head of Administration and Governance. The role reports at board level and will be responsible for a wide range of functions on an International basis.

These will include overall administration and business operations, IT, Health and Safety and general operations relating to the organisational governance and all support and administration activities.

This is a dynamic and often challenging role as you will be working across many cultures and time zones to ensure that all member partners are supported and provide the information necessary to run the organisation effectively and efficiently.

To apply for this role, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role in a administration / business operations capacity and have worked in a cross-cultural environment and understand the requirements of a an International role.

As this is a professional body, it would be highly beneficial is you have worked in a similar sector such as not for profit, membership, charity, public sector, education etc. as you will be liaising and working with legal and regulatory bodies and ensuring that governance guidelines policies and procedures are adhered to.

This is an immersive, “hands on” role and will require you to take meeting minutes and transpose and present these efficiently and in a timely manner to all relevant parties.

This is an exciting and varied role working with people across a wide range of countries and cultures and as such, you will need to have strong communication skills, be able to build excellent relationships with all stakeholders and be comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment.

In addition, you should possess a good standard of education, ideally to degree level, and be proficient in the use of IT and related office software packages.

This is a key role within the organisation and offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a wide range of cultures across various functions. There is also the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely although 2 days per week in the office is preferred. Other arrangements may be considered.
