What is the role?
The Business System Analyst role is akey component of the UK Business Change team.
In this role you willsupport the delivery of strategic projects within the change portfolio,initiating and implementing small change and process simplification/improvements.
In this role you will be workingacross cross functional teams ,as well as,the whole of the business with third party system providers.
In this role you will bemaintainingandInnovatingacross the entirety ofMarkel.
You will be joining aclose-knit team of can-doerswho arefriendly and supportive continuing to maintain this flow and dynamic.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
You will engage with business representatives todefine and document product build requirements.
You willattendandcontributetoproduct design workshops.
You will be working with the IT teams to ensure all interface/infrastructure details are captured. Moreover, you willhelp with clarification of requirements for functional and technical specifications.
You will pose relevant questions tohelp identify the source of issues and ensure that solutions are suggested.
You willsupport the ongoing system enhancements, working very closely with your stakeholders and IT colleagues. Throughout this, you will be involved in the change lifecycle from initiation through to testing and implementation.
You willbuild products in the new system from scratch, carrying out show and tell sessionswith Product Managers and business stakeholders,demonstrating the build so far and to gain approval to progress.
You willprovideinsightinto project documentation including; product specifications, product matrix, risk, issues logs, change logs and status reporting.
