Job Description
We would like to hear from buy-side Equity Analysts who have experience of working on UK, European or Global Income Funds.
Our client is a long only fund, investing across all regions and sectors, with a long term investment horizon and a detailed, bottom up approach to research where the analysts pride themselves on the depth of knowledge they have in the companies under their coverage.
We are looking for an Equity Analyst with experience of analysing publicly listed companies that provide investors with higher and consistent income streams, of particular interest would be applicants who have covered sectors such as banks, pharma, telcos etc.
The successful candidate will essentially be a roving analyst, with the ability to look across regions and sectors, and therefore will need to be able to hit the ground running.
We would ask that applicants possess:
- 5-10 years' experience in equity research, including buy-side
- Experience of working on an equity Income fund
- Experience of covering multiple sectors
- Solid experience in bottom up, fundamental equity research
- Genuine interest in investing (ideally having managed a PA)
- Confidence in own ability but also able to be humble and learn from mistakes
- A collaborative approach to team work
- CFA qualification would be advantageous
