Job Description
C# Software Developer with sound C#, .NET (version 6 ideally), ASP.NET, SQL with skills in some of (TFS, TDD, Oracle, Win Forms, WCF, CI, CD, TFS, Docker, JavaScript, PowerShell) are required by fast growing and leading biotech / life sciences software company based near London Bridge to work on highlycomplex systems which are relied on by scientists at some of the largest Pharma and Biotech companies scientists to assist in drug / vaccine discovery and lab automation.
As a C# Developer you will be working in an agile team of circa 6 people with experienced C# Software Developers on a wide range of applications, including full stack web applications, distributed systems, OLTP databases, and robotic control software.
For Junior / associate level developers the role will be hybrid with 2 days per week in the London City Office.
For .net developers with at least at least two years experience there is scope to be office based 1 day per month so predomiately remote, after a period of initial training in the office.
Skills required as a C# Software Developer would include some of:
Proven C#, ASP.Net, .NET and Development and sound Object Orientated (OO) knowledge
Combined with skills in some of MVC, JavaScript, SQL / RSBMS with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server, TFS, Microsoft Windows, Docker
Knowledge of algorithms
A keen eye on quality coding as this is important for software in the Pharma / Biotech space
Experience of any of TDD, CI or CD and working with an Agile or Scrum centric environment would be an advantage.
Strong degree (2:1 or above) ideally from a Red Brick / Russell University in a Computer Science or Scientific Discipline.
An interest in Science or biotechnology would be an advantage but not essential.
