CAD Designer | Architectural Metalwork | Construction | Hertfordshire
Up to £55,000 per annum plus pension
Our client is a long-established privately-owned specialist sub contractor, who are enjoying a period of planned expansion. They have an impressive client base and strong order book which has created an opening for an ambitious CAD designer to join their design team.
The role will be predominantly office-based producing drawings using CAD, predominantly in 2D but as the use of BIM and Revit increases along with client demand, the necessity to produce 3D drawings using 3D Solidworks is key.
Key criteria:
- Previous architectural metal work / facades or manufacturing experience gained in the UK Construction Industry
- Construction Industry experience
- Ability to produce 3D drawings using CAD / Solidworks would be advantageous
Candidates must already be living within a daily commute of their offices in Hertfordshire. You could be from a specialist subcontracting background or an inhouse designer from a manufacturer with two or more years’ experience in this specialist field.
