Calibration Engineer
£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE, Negotiable)
Lincolnshire, UK – Field and Site Based (4 day week)
The Company -
A leading provider of calibration services, specializing in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of a wide range of instruments and equipment.
The Role and Responsibilities -
We are looking to speak with calibration engineers who have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical calibration. Ideally, you will have a background in process equipment calibrations (temperature, pressure and weighing equipment)
- Ability to quickly understand and be trained in a large variety of equipment and instruments
- Perform on-site calibration services for customers
- Working both on the road on clients site and at the headquarters in Lincolnshire
- Work with clients to understand further business opportunities
Criteria -
- Desirable to know about BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
- Background in Calibration and understanding of different techniques and equipment used within the industry (and willing to be trained in disciplines you may not know)
- Full, clean driving license
- Adaptable, and able to manage largely your own workload
- Customer focused
- Happy to be out on the road, sometimes spending days in the week away from home across the UK
