Salary: £20k - £30k Base

Key Requirement: All candidates MUST HAVE experience in calibration or a production environment of sensors.

Role Overview

Join a leading IoT company as a Calibration Engineer and play a crucial role in their Production team by supporting the calibration process of IoT sensors, especially temperature calibration. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise calibration of IoT sensors, with a focus on temperature sensors, to ensure accurate data collection and adherence to industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify and resolve any issues related to sensor accuracy and performance.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures during the calibration process to maintain the high reliability of their devices.
  • Train and guide team members on best practices for calibration and continuous monitoring of sensor performance.
  • Regularly review and update calibration methods and equipment to keep pace with technological advancements and industry trends.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Calibration Engineer, particularly in temperature calibration, within a high-tech, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles and technologies, and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organisation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
