Who we’re looking for
An adaptable, inventive and meticulous individual who is keen to develop their career in Marketing and understands how digital techniques can be used to enhance campaign activity and connectivity and improve client engagement. We're looking for someone with Marketing campaign experience who is technology-literate, a digital native and who is able to communicate clearly with stakeholders of all levels.

With the continued proliferation of digital, this is an opportunity for the right individual to join a busy team and support the delivery of Marketing's key initiatives across the UK's various client channels (both B2B and B2C). You will develop not only your own skills, but help shape relationships and the acceleration of digital fluency throughout the Marketing and Sales teams.

The base

The team
The UK Marketing Team serves Institutional, Intermediary and Individual investors. It partners closely with the local Sales teams to build client engagement and raise assets. We operate across the entire Marketing mix and are part of the Global Marketing Function where central areas of expertise (Digital, Events, Brand, Social, Proposition etc) work with us to deploy strategic and tactical client centric activity and campaigns. 
 
The central Digital Marketing team plays a pivotal role in how we engage with our clients and prospects across channels. We want to work more effectively to leverage this expertise locally and improve our client offering, our Marketing efficiency, results, reporting and to demonstrate the value of Marketing and Sales activity.

What you’ll do
You'll be expected to support and co-ordinate across several key areas. These include:

Strategic responsibilities

  • Work with colleagues in the UK business and Central Marketing teams to develop and deploy integrated campaigns across the UK's various client channels;
  • Act as a key contributor to and enabler of Schroders' Digital Marketing Strategy to increase investor interest in our content and propositions;
  • Set goals and targets across marketing channels, in-line with the Global Marketing objectives;
  • Develop the relationship between the UK and Central Marketing teams, ensuring good collaboration and clear communication and
  • Advocate change, create synergy and identify new opportunities to innovate both day-to-day processes and strategic roadmaps.

Operational responsibilities

  • Work alongside colleagues, agencies, advertising and content teams to help plan and launch campaigns to clients and prospects within the UK client channels;
  • Work across the UK client channels to optimise campaign activity in-line with agreed objectives and KPIs;
  • Embed the use of analytics to improve the discoverability and consumption of content by Schroders' investors and prospects;
  • Utilise Marketing technology, best practice techniques and data-led insight to continuously improve all relevant KPIs;
  • Monitor and optimise the client journey across multiple touchpoints based-on business insight and actionable analytics;
  • Collaborate on lead generation, client retention and campaign strategies through enhancing the use of integrated Marketing channels including Pardot and Salesforce CRM and
  • Consolidate UK requirements and liaise with Central Marketing and development teams to progress key projects, manage risk and launch new initiates.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Broad experience of working across integrated Marketing channels;
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and deploying integrated Marketing campaigns;
  • Proven experience working with Digital Marketing channels and technology;
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that utilise Digital Marketing Channels to engage, inform, and motivate;
  • Clear communications and stakeholders management skills;
  • Experience using a Marketing Automation platform;
  • Build and deployment of personalised email marketing campaigns;
  • An Excellent attention to detail, problem-solver and creative thinker;
  • Able to develop budgets, familiar with financial planning and strategy and
  • A team player with a “team first” attitude and a collaborative working style.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • Experience in optimising user journeys and lead conversion funnels;
  • Use of Salesforce CRM and Pardot Marketing Automations platforms;
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build client strategies;
  • An understanding of HTML, web development and platform configuration;
  • Experience working with data and using analytics tools for reporting and
  • B2B industry experience, particularly within Financial Services and/or asset management.
