Renault Watford seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealership's workshop.
The role involves routine servicing, MOTs, maintenance and repair of cars to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.
Candidates should have a current MOT Tester Certification, City & Guilds or NVQ level III in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and be equipped with own tools. A full UK Driver's licence is also needed in order to carry out diagnostic test drives.
The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm with 30 min lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm.
In return we offer a basic salary of £30,304 per annum. This comprises £29,400 pa for weekday work + £904 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.
We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to the successful individuals when offered the job on or before 31st March 2023 and commencing work by 21st April 2023. T&Cs apply.
Overtime beyond the core hours is available: additional Saturday work is paid at time-and-a-half. You can also volunteer for occasional Sunday and Bank Holiday work which paid at double pay.
