Care Assistant - Specialist Unit - New Hourly rate from April 2023 £11.50 per hour.
An exciting opportunity has arisen forCare Assistants- Days or Nights -experienced in EMI/ Dementia and Complex careto work in our newly commissioned 19 bed dementia specialist, male only facility situated within this beautiful, purpose built 112 bed home in Tag Lane, Ingol, Preston.

As a Care Assistant you must:
Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
Be alert to residents needs, health and wellbeing
Respect the residents dignity and privacy
Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
Maintain accurate records for each resident

Previous working experience within a complex care EMI/Dementia Setting
Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of this specialist Unit as some of the service users will express acute distressed and or challenging behaviour
Qualifications
An NVQ level 2 in health & social care is essential along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care.
