Bandrum Nursing Home Limited is a leading provider of specialist adult care and care for the elderly in Dunfermline, Scotland. Situated in the heart of the Fife countryside, our purpose-built home offers 24-hour full-time nursing care in a beautiful setting spanning 19 acres. With 88 beds across two homes, we have 6 units that cater to residents with varying support needs from younger adults to palliative care . Our aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where residents and their visitors feel at home and enjoy a range of facilities, comfortable accommodation, nutritious meals, and a daily activity program. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Care Home Manager at Bandrum Nursing Home Limited in Dunfermline. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to our residents and ensuring continuity of care. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing and leading a team of care professionals, overseeing resident care plans, coordinating and implementing care services, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, liaising with residents' families and healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and leading a team in a care home setting
  • In-depth knowledge of elderly care, including physical and mental health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the care home industry
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in care home management
  • Understanding of financial management and budgeting in a care home setting
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care, nursing, or a related field
