The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic Construction company, we are looking for a carpenter and you'll be reporting into a Site manger and be based full time on site.
Main duties and responsibilities of an Carpenter:
The projects that we carry out include refurbishment of historic buildings and new build projects.
You will be responsible for delivery of carpentry tasks reporting to our Site Manager.
The role is site based.
Working on all phases of a construction project which are managed internally from set up to completion.
The role will provide a high degree of satisfaction from completion of a wide range and number of projects.
Experience/knowledge requirements for an Carpenter:
Keen interest in construction and carpentry.
Has a accredited carpentry apprenticeship
Takes a pride in their work and is able to work to the standards set.
Ability to read drawings.
Will have good maths skills and ability to take measurements.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues, clients and consultants.
Likes a project based working environment.
Works well in a team.
Self-motivated, forward thinking and punctual.
