The Facilities team require a Catering Assistant!This role will be involved in theprovision of various catering services to patients, staff and visitors. This will include cooking, working within cold stores and cleaning duties within the kitchensThe shift pattern for this role is: hours a week: 07:00 - 15:00, Monday, Thursday and Friday. The ideal candidate will:- Have previous experience or relevant qualifications in CateringBe personable, motivating and friendlyHave a desire to provide a comfortable environment for our patientsHave strong communication and organisations skills. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Basic Education - Reading and writing plus basic numeric skills Desirable NVQ Level 1 or Cleaning Experience in a similar field Skills Essential Able to use cleaning equipment, some of which may be of an industrial quality Able to follow verbal and written instructions for example when adhering to cleaning schedules Able to electronically order required cleaning stocks To ensure they are ready to be used as needed
