Education Catering is Hampshire County Council’s in house catering service. We are looking for a competent, outgoing person to work in our Calshot Residential Centre.
As a Unit Manager working in the busy kitchen at Calshot Activity Centre, you’ll need to be able to work at a fast pace and as part of a team, under direction of the restaurant manager. Duties will include preparing/cooking food together with other general kitchen tasks which include cleaning duties. You will be on a fortnightly shift pattern where you will be required to work one weekend per month. This role will also involve Breakfast, evening and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
It’s a rewarding job, and we’ll give you all the training you need to succeed. Experience of working in a catering environment is needed as you will occasionally cover for the Restaurant Manager when absent.
