CEO–National Leisure and Hospitality Concept

Sector: Hospitality / Leisure / High volume

Salary: between £150,000 - £240,000 plus great package

Location: UK– flexibility to work away from London during the week / significant UK travel

We are working with a very unique business who are looking for a dynamic individual to join them as CEO.

This is a national opportunity to work with an up-and-coming leisure and hospitality business that, after major funding is ready for a national growth scale-up.

The business is very much a customer experience,centredaround core attractions, however, the team have built the offering extensively and have created a diverse model that offers food and beverage, accommodation and activities andwellbeingservices to the whole family.

One area the investors feels needs major attention is brand growth and marketing.

As the team is currently very strong operationally with an operational-focused senior leadership team, the board feels a CEO who has excellent marketing capabilities and a strong understanding of customer experience and digital brand growth would be ideal.

The existing team are hugely passionate about what they do, and the investment house has a strong reputation for sustainable growth and collaborative, inclusive working.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Managing director, Commercial Director or Chief marketing officer to take on a CEO opportunity for a dynamic, creative and growth-orientated leisure brand.

The Position


  • Drive growth and realise scale up plans in a sustainable yet ambitious manor
  • Develop commercial diversity and product viability
  • Build strong investor relations
  • strategic marketing focused, building a strong brand and digital marketing initiative both for the short and long term
  • Develop the brand proposition in order to build customer awareness to support current business and future scale up
  • Create a viable commercial model for existing venues in order to predict and plan for growth.

Essential Experience


  • Large scale MD, Chief Marketing, Commercial Director orSMECEO experience
  • Proven experience scaling up a growingmultisiteretail / leisure / hospitality business
  • Excellent brand building, commercial and digital marketing know-how.
  • Experience working withVCor PE funders would be ideal but not essential
  • Early and mid-size growth experience
  • strong leadership capabilities, with a reputation for developing your team and bringing people on the journey with you
  • Passionate and knowledge about brand building and digital marketing
