Certification Engineer Job In Glasgow

Certification Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in England

Responsibilities:

1. Management of day-to-day certification process.
2. Implementation of the project certification strategy including inclusion of suitable certification requirements in Employer Requirements.
3. Liaison with the Certifier, the engineering team, contractors and other third parties (including regional authorities and regulators) to ensure the project is certified in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Familiarisation of the Engineering team with certification requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3-year relevant professional experience, preferably within the (renewable) energy business.
• High level understanding of the purpose and process of Certification for offshore wind farms.
• Familiarity with high level industry standards.
• Interdisciplinary and creative mindset, ability to work independently and proactively.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the certification aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines.
• Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, able to prioritize and work independently.
• Proven experience in understanding a broad range of complex topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts.
• Successfully completed university degree in the domain of technology, engineering.
