Job Description

As a CGI Artist within the Curve Studio, you will be responsible for producing high-quality digital imagery and animations for a variety of projects, including short format video and running footage. You will work closely with art directors, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver visually stunning results.


You are Accountable for

·        Deadlines being met

·        Highlighting anything that may jeopardise the quality of creativity or a client relationship

·        Communication internally and externally being professional

·        Ensuring briefs are a source of good creative information and correct to scope

·        Support to the studio manager to ensure that studio runs effectively


You are Responsible for:

·        Using Unreal Engine, in collaboration with other 3D software (3DS Max, Maya, etc)

·        Texture, light, and shade 3D models to achieve desired aesthetics and mood.

·        Collaborating with art directors, designers, and clients to understand project objectives and deliverables.

·        Iterating on designs based on feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project deadlines.

·        Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and workflows.

·        Optimize assets and animations for various platforms and mediums, ensuring compatibility and performance.

·        Maintaining organization and file management protocols to ensure efficient workflow and project collaboration.

·        Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

·        Upholding high standards of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of work

The Basics

You will work from our UK office, which is vibrant, modern, and well-serviced. Your working week will be 9-5. On occasion you may be required to work more than 37.5 hours per week in order to complete projects and client obligations. You will be paid at the rate of time and a half for any hours exceeding your normal contracted hours. You are entitled to 36 days annual leave including the national and regional holidays.
