We have an exciting opportunity for a Change & Engagement Manager to join our amazing team. The role is based in Chingford London.Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with remote working)Salary: £41,165.90 per annum - Band F Level 3, inclusive outer London weighting & Market SupplementTerm: Fixed-term Contract until 29 March 2024Hours: 35 hours per weekWe’re Scouts and everyone’s welcome here - all genders, races and backgrounds. We help them speak up, play their part and shine bright.The Change & Engagement Manager Role:This role will particularly focus on engagement with the movement ensuring our volunteers are supported, with specific support put in place for volunteer leaders and managers, and ensuring feedback from volunteers is heard and responded to.You’ll be working cross-functionally with staff and volunteers, providing the resources, tools and approach to support the adoption of changes.Key responsibilities as our Change & Engagement Manager:Engaging with our volunteers, understanding their challenges and barriers and using this to shape our approach to change managementWorking with the communications team to develop change and engagement messages that are cohesive, clear and compellingWorking with senior colleagues to plan engagement and change, especially end-user experience, engagement and trainingLeading engagement and consultation exercises to understand how the change will impact our volunteersInputting into change planning for the organisation, working alongside PMO and other colleagues to integrate this into with project planningWorking with the Senior Change Manager to further develop the change management framework and toolsHelping embed change management principles, techniques and tools within the organisation with a focus on training and learningWhat we are looking for in our Change & Engagement Manager:Experience in the design and delivery of learning, training and engagementExperience in delivering practical change with a variety of audiences, including volunteers or community membersExperience working with senior stakeholders to understand, manage and challenge their assumptions about changeExperience working in a matrix type environment, engaging with multiple sponsors and stakeholdersSignificant experience as a team member delivering a successful large change programme involving multiple projects including digital or technology focussed projects. - Experience working with a range of project management techniques across a complex transformation portfolioExperience in delivering change at a large and geographically dispersed scale (e.g. national, regional)Familiarity with change theory, tools and techniques to deliver user adoption, behaviour and culture change, change impact assessments, and trainingWhat we can offer you as our Change & Engagement Manager:Work in a way that suits you, your role and your departmentBe proud to say you’re part of a team with Investors in People (Gold)Plenty of opportunity for learning and development25 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays rising to 28 days after two years, then increasing again to 32 days after five yearsFour extra days to look after your family when they need youThree extra days over ChristmasWhen you’re at the office, you’ll be surrounded by 100 acres of beautiful woodland Be part of a team that believes having fun’s important too, with team days, charity days and our new interactive Scout-themed collaboration hub (think tents!) creating a great informal environment for meeting and working – this’ll be opening soonClosing date: Monday, 27 March 2023 at 23:59Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join our fantastic team! Click ‘Apply’ now!The Scouts is an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to diversity and actively seeking applicants from a wide range of backgrounds.Strictly no agencies
