Job summary The Derby and Burton hospitals Charity are seeking a self-motivated, confident individualwith a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The successful applicant will hold aUK driving license and be confident to travel across all 5 sites. Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity supports all areas of the Trust's work, caring for patients at our five main sites, and supporting staff and patients at other sites where needed. We are a small team, but we work well together and are well regarded by the hospitals we serve, and by the supporters of our Charity. Derby and Burton Charity Hub Receptionist is a key role within the Charity. For many people, this is the first point of contact with the Charity, so it is important we make a good first impression. If you are friendly, welcoming and happy to carry out a variety of duties, we would like to hear from you. Main duties of the job To provide a friendly, welcoming and efficient service on the Charity Hub to supporters, staff, patients and visitors. To provide general clerical/ administrative support for the Charity to a high standard. We are the 4th busiest Trauma & Orthopaedic outpatients department in England - an average of 2077 per week. An average of 1115 patients are seen in A&Es across our network every day - 3rd largest in the country. Our hospitals admit an average of 195 emergency patients daily. Last year we undertook almost 33,700 planned surgical operations in our 57 operating theatres. We are one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres. We carry out more than 140 elective procedures each working day.
