Charity Individual Giving Manager (Fixed Term 12 months)

Location: St Clare Hospice, Hastingwood CM19 7JX, hybrid with 2 days working from home

Salary: £38,211.60 per annum and inclusive of 5% High Cost Area Allowance

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours – start date estimated late December 2024/early January 2025

Overview of role

Are you an experienced Individual Giving or Direct Marketing specialist wanting to develop and further your career in a supportive and friendly environment? We’re looking for an ambitious, hardworking person to cover our Individual Giving Manager role for 12 months whilst the incumbent is on Maternity Leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the forward-thinking Fundraising Team at St Clare as we embark on our growth strategies and plans. The role holder will be responsible for leading our (postal and email) direct marketing activity including appeals, driving Regular Giving growth through a number of new initiatives alongside advocating the use of data and analysis to aid decision making. We are looking for someone who understands In Memory Giving and can develop and implement strategies to connect with families and the wider hospice to grow this area of fundraising. The role holder will need to promote and apply gold standard supporter care at every touch point and have a full understanding of supporter journeys.
