We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Solomon benchmarking methodologies and performance analysis to join our Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED) under the Downstream Global Manufacturing. The role involves supporting and overseeing the performances of the company’s global manufacturing assets.
Affiliates Manufacturing Excellence Department (AMED) is a multifunctional business unit and a front office setup to oversee the company’s affiliates’ operational performance, manage HSSE, and facilitate driving manufacturing excellence across the portfolio. AMED acts as the primary interface between the company and affiliates by advising, coordinating, assuring, and prompting services & support, and conducting affiliates manufacturing performance analysis and benchmarking.
Your primary role will be to provide technical expertise in conducting benchmarking and analyzing the performances of Global Manufacturing assets using Solomon performance metrics. You will also be expected to provide support in closing the performance gaps identified in the benchmarking process.
Education: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 15 years total refinery and/or chemical process units experience with at least 5 years specialized experience in Solomon benchmarking and analysis of associated metrics.
Skills: Working knowledge in refinery and chemical industry process plant characteristics is essential. Must possess the ability to facilitate technical discussions and use influence to align various stakeholders. Must be proficient in data analysis and data visualization tools.
