Position Overview The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Chemistry curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role entails fostering a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and a deep understanding of the chemical world. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver captivating Chemistry lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational philosophy. Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enrich the learning experience. Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Chemistry education. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
