Recently inspected and graded a ‘Good’ College by Ofsted, we are the largest College group in the capital and third largest in England. Capital City College Group (CCCG) has over 30,000 learners studying across three major colleges in the heart of the capital. Our ambition is to transform lives through exceptional education and training across a wide range of specialisms to all our students and other stakeholders, including commercial clients.

As our current CEO is retiring we now seek an exceptional individual to build on our success, and devise and implement an ambitious strategy for CCCG, as well as provide overall strategic management to the Group. This is a fantastic time to join the College and you will work closely with a highly committed board and a team of senior leaders delivering for our learners and business communities. You will drive and develop new business opportunities and collaborations across the sector whilst ensuring that existing resources and infrastructure are effectively utilised and fit for purpose. Further developing high quality partnerships within London and beyond, whilst ensuring that CCCG is engaged regionally and nationally as befits our size and impact, are crucial requirements of the role.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader to our staff with a successful track record of senior leadership gained within a complex and customer-facing environment. A passion for education and training will be important, as will creativity and innovation that can truly impact on maximising opportunities for our learners, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will have the ability to deliver outstanding outcomes within an ever-changing political landscape, as well as operate successfully in a stimulating, values-led environment. Building and developing external relationships with key stakeholder groups and positioning the College as an influential voice within the wider sector, will be critical as CEO. You will also identify and optimise revenue opportunities and demonstrate the financial acumen to be accountable for a budget of £120m.
