Job Description
Our client is a well-established local charity that has an excellent reputation for its service provision.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Board are looking for an experienced CEO and/or Interim to
take responsibility for the effective management and leadership of their organisation.
With responsibility for all aspects of strategic, operational and people management, there will also be key projects to lead on within the interim period including:
- Finalising contract negotiations (funding) and implementing necessary operational changes
- Overseeing response to upcoming Tender
- Recruiting a FR Manager and overseeing the initial implementation of a new fundraising strategy
- Acting as the public face of the organisation with key stakeholders
If you are an inclusive and adaptable leader that is experienced at 'dropping in' and getting up to speed/delivering quickly; bring a good understanding of leadership/governance of a small-medium sized organisation (ideally within the charity/NFP sector); have solid understanding of fundraising including tender/contract negotiations - whilst also able to ensure the day to day operations run smoothly - this will be a fantastic opportunity.
