A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented Chief of Staff to work in an UHNW Family Office in Central London.

This role primarily will be assisting the two Principals in their personal affairs, with a particular emphasis on estate management, household staff, travel and social arrangements.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Hiring and management of all household staff across a number of properties.
  • Assisting with the management of the Principals' property portfolio.
  • Acting as gatekeeper for all the Principals' personal and private affairs
  • Managing emails
  • A strong “little black book” of the highest standard contacts.
  • Liaising and overseeing contractors, consultants, designers and other professionals across the Principals’ properties; keeping the Principals informed and ensuring projects are successfully completed.
  • Dealing with and resolving issues
  • Assisting in the management of the Principals' transportation fleet and extensive art collection, as well as assisting with their charitable and other personal endeavours.
  • Extensive travel arrangements for the family, including private jets, ground transportation, hotels/accommodation, activities and visas.  Producing meticulous travel itineraries from start to finish.
  • International event management – guest lists, invitations, food tastings and interior design for VIP/high profile dinners and parties.
  • Sourcing hard to find items.

Candidates must have a very strong, proven track record of personal/private Chief of Staff or PA to UHNW individuals.  Must be able to demonstrate exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the flexibility to work across multiple time zones and always remaining calm in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.  First class communication skills - both written and verbal - are an absolute must, and the ability to build relations with a wide cross section of people.   Good IT literacy, including a good knowledge of Mac/Apple products.  Absolute discretion must be exercised at all times.  Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.

This role is primarily London-based, but there will also be some international travel involved, sometimes at short notice.  Applicants must be confident in committing to these demands, and be willing to work out-of-hours when required.
