Job Responsibilities

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make their own mark and setup the IT function as they see fit.

* To be able to communicate to a high standard with employees, stakeholders, execs and customers to ensure the company's technologies are used appropriately, securely and efficiently.

* To create technology and system strategies to be able to assist the various areas of the business and where appropriate review, plan and implement new technology and innovation to improve our offering to our customers or to create efficiencies within the Group. To review current technological trends and bring in suitable technology to assist the business areas and IT functions.

* Develop technical aspects of the group's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

* Help to discover and implement innovation and technology that will benefit the estate and our customers.

* Build and maintain quality assurance, cyber security and data protection processes, in line with regulatory standards and controls

* Communicate technology strategy to stakeholder and exec levels

* Being responsible for the technology architecture of an organisation

* Developing, tracking and controlling the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations

* Researching any new technologies that may potentially increase the group's competitive advantage

* Sharing technological visions, opportunities, and risks group-wide

* Representing the group at conferences and networking events

Skills Required

* Proven extensive experience at CTO level or similar leadership role of a large team - within property or real estate.

* Experience of working with or implementing Yardi/PMS Software and knowledge of Accounting Software.

* IT infrastructure solution design experience

* Knowledge of ISO27001:2013 and/or Cyber Essentials

* Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy

* Understanding of budgets and business-planning

* Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

* Transformation and Change management experience
