Are you seeking a Head of Safeguarding - Children Services role in Rotherham? Ackerman Pierce have an exciting opportunity which spans an initial 3-6 months, with potential for extension based on your performance and internal circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Strategic Director for Children and Families, this high-profile position requires a diverse skill set.
- The post holder will oversee the efficient operation and delivery of services, impacting partnership collaboration, quality assurance, performance, learning, workforce, and complementary services such as voice participation, therapeutic support, and family group conferencing (FGC).
- Providing influential advice and guidance, the post holder will foster trust and confidence among internal colleagues, external partners, the workforce, and the Council.
- Strategic planning, service review, design, and transformation will be key to achieving sustainable and safe outcomes for children. Ensuring robust systems are in place to adapt to innovative practices and support our valuable workforce is also part of the role.
Minimum Requirements:
- SWE Registration
- 5 years’ post-qualification experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Managerial experience
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (which we can assist in obtaining)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
