Job description Are you a nurturing and dedicated individual who thrives from supporting and working with children?If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you!We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Liverpool, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home. Meet our service userOur service user is a young lady in her teens who lives with her loving and welcoming family in Liverpool, she requires support with her complex and clinical care needs throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.She is a very sociable girl who loves being out and about in the community, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and care team. She really enjoys attending school and exploring various arts and crafts activities. Throughout the night you will be required to attend to her clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night’s sleep. You will also be required to provide support with her morning routine getting her ready for the day ahead. It is essential that you are vaccinated against COVID 19 for this positionOur ideal candidate will have experience working with children as this is essential for this positionOur service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their teamEssential Experience Required 3 months previous care experienceMedication AdministrationPersonal CareMoving and HandlingCovid VaccinationsEpilepsy Experience Desirable Experience PEG FeedingOral SuctioningSeizure ManagementOxygen Management We have the following shifts available; Full Time Days 8am - 4pmPart Time Nights10:00pm – 8:00am Take a look at our pay ratesWeekdays: £16.00 per hour (£128 approx. per 8-hour shift)Weeknights: £16.50 per hour (£165 approx. per 10-hour shift)Weekends: £17.00 per hour (£170 approx. per 10-hour shift)Bank Holiday: £19.00 per hour (£190 approx. per 10-hour shift)This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user, really making an impact on her day-to-day life.Apollo Home Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer and we advertise a high volume of vacancies on behalf of our clients.
