The Role
Here at Churchview Vets, we are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, personable Veterinary Surgeons to join our welcoming and supportive team. The role will include a mixture of consultations, routine surgeries, and medical workups to fill your day and nurture your interests. We offer excellent first opinion services giving our vets a varied and broad caseload.
We are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our staff and offer a flexible working pattern giving you excellent work/life balance! We are happy to accept both full/part-time roles and there are no out of hours requirements.
The salary will be up to £60,000 (FTE) + £3000 welcome bonus.
About Us
Churchview Vets is a well-established, RCVS accredited, 100% small animal practice in a great location on the Wirral where you are close to both city and countryside. We pride ourselves on offering exemplary customer service for our loyal client base and are strong believers in preventative care. Working with us will allow you to offer your clients outstanding customer-focused service and provide reassuring case continuity. The practice is small in structure, but we are busy, and every day is truly varied.
Our new Vet(s) will join us at an exciting time as we are currently expanding our practice into the next-door building. This will enable us to develop the services we offer to our wonderful clients as well as allowing our Vets and Nurses to flourish and to further their interests.
The team at Churchview Vets consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons (3FTE) plus 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses together with experienced Veterinary Care Assistants. Together they form a friendly and dedicated group, committed to the provision of excellent service for our patients.
Applicant Requirements
You will be experienced and confident in all aspects of first opinion practice and equally as happy in the consulting room or in surgery. Your attributes should include being a team player with first-class communication skills and a demonstrable commitment to outstanding client care so that you can develop excellent working relationships with your patients and their owners. Being confident and happy with some sole charge is also important.
