**Position Objective**


This is a new role responsible for building out a loan product management function globally across the CCB. The CCB Loan Product Manager (CLPM) will take primary responsibility for management of the CCB loan product, with an emphasis on defining and delivering a unique value proposition for the CCB, development of a well-defined and globally consistent product offering across multiple geographies, the establishment of a strong risk and controls environment, and the delivery of sustainable business and loan portfolio growth. The CLPM will report to the Global Head of Commercial Credit Products. He/she will work closely with CCB leadership around the world.


**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Loan Product Strategy and Execution

+ Drive sustainable loan growth across the CCB target market thru strategic management of our loan product offering, its delivery channel, governance and risk and controls

+ Develop a competitive loan product offering taking into consideration the competitive landscape and the CCBs global strategy

+ Key product development responsibilities include the design and implementation of a loan product strategy, onboarding and servicing model, and new product features and capabilities, including the design and development of a well-defined and globally consistent product offering (tenor, structure, collateral, loan pricing standards, etc.), including commercial ESG products, government support products and related offerings services

+ Track and monitor loan product profitability and performance against identified targets

+ Marketing: Position the CCB loan product competitively in the marketplace; build awareness and empower commercial bankers and Commercial Lending Management (CLM) underwriters with effective marketing tools and related training and development

+ Assess and direct changes to the CCB loan product offering based on deals won vs. deals lost, evolving client and market demands, technology trends, and other existing and emerging threats within the commercial lending marketplace

+ Conducting market research and competitor analyses to ensure our commercial clients have a best-in-class experience and designing and execute on identified improvement strategies

+ End-to-end Lending Management & Governance

+ Partner with Institutional Credit Management (ICM), O&T and Loan Operations to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency, control and the client experience across the E2E lending platform

+ Partner with internal partners in CLM, ICM, O&T, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance and other partners) to ensure CCB client and product needs are fully reflected in any shared platform design and operations and all E2E lending processes and controls are designed, implemented, and executed properly and consistently, with a focus on continuous improvement and transformation

+ Partner in the design, development and review of all technology changes to existing loan platforms in the CCB (C1C), including business requirement documentation; provide support in terms of local country clearances, UAT testing, training and communication during implementations

+ Partner with all up and downstream stakeholders to ensure CCB client and product needs are fully reflected in any shared platform design and operations

+ Establish a CCB Loans Governance forum with all upstream and downstream stakeholders to assess and monitor the efficacy of loan product delivery, including the review of E2E operational processes, SLA KPIs, controls, staffing adequacy, issues management, etc., workstream development, critical follow-ups and cross-team coordination

+ Partner with Risk and Controls colleagues to assess, rate and monitor CCB loan product risk in accordance with ICG policy and governance standards

+ Direct and oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and regulatory requirements

+ Provide CCB business accountability and oversight for CCB Loans-related remediation projects such as FRY-14 Data, regulatory reporting remediation, Loan IQ implementation, etc.


+ CCB LIBOR Transition Lead Executive:

+ Manage CCBs LIBOR Transition globally, including the orderly transition of the CCB loan product away from LIBOR floating rates into new alternative rates

+ Manage CCB LIBOR the team to identify, escalate and mitigate conduct and operational risks and to ensure timely completion of project plan milestones, reporting requirements and management escalation

+ Work with other ICG businesses and the Citi Central LIBOR team to ensure a coordinated remediation approach

+ Handle key regulatory interactions and communicate effectively with clients, commercial bankers, CLM and CCB leadership around the world


**Knowledge/Experience:**


+ Extensive experience in banking, product/loan management experience or related activities

+ Experience managing across multi-function, global businesses

+ Experience leading cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals

+ Broad and diverse functional experience (e.g. marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, analytics, technology)

+ Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results

+ Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes across asset classes

+ Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

+ Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication


**Qualifications:**


+ Undergraduate Degree, MBA a plus.

+ High level of personal integrity and interest in building the business.

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence and build consensus.

+ Articulate in written and verbal communication skills

+ Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content.

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an extremely time-sensitive environment.
