Lime is hiring a Claims Manager to join our Trust and Safety team! You will report to the Head of Trust and Safety in this role. You will have expertise in analyzing BI/PD claims, running a team of claims specialists globally, and utilizing data-driven analytics to drive optimization & scalability. As the CM you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have experience running a global team, & can build innovative solutions to scale & optimize the overall claims process.

What you'll do:

    • Manage a team of Claims Specialists, including implementation of KPIs & individual development
    • Determine authorization on settlement requests, set reserves, & approve reserve changes
    • Oversee global insurance claims related to Lime's rider insurance policies (emphasis in EMEA) with a focus on effective & timely resolution
    • Collaborate with insurers & TPAs on claim resolution strategies
    • Develop, analyze, and distribute monthly and quarterly reports related to reserves, payments, claims activity, and productivity
    • Present trends & global claims risk profile to the executive leadership team
    • Cross-functional collaboration with Trust & Safety, Insurance, Customer Experience, Legal, TPAs, and outside counsel as required
    • Audit TPAs' claim files and service invoices to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and accomplishment of key performance metrics

About you:

    • 5+ years of property & casualty insurance experience
    • Deep knowledge of property damage, physical injuries, medical terminology, medical treatment protocols, and wage loss claims process
    • Proven experience working with third-party administrators, and internal and external legal teams in a high-volume claims environment
    • Deep technical claim knowledge, including experience with RMS
    • Highly organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
    • Capable of working across several time zones
    • Preferred Experience

    • Professional Certified Claims Professional (CCP)
    • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory landscape affecting micromobility, including insurance laws, personal injury claims, and data privacy regulations relevant to customer and third-party claims.
    • 3+ years in a management role
