Warehouse Operative-Clarivate The Warehouse Operative facilitates the smooth flow of books through the warehouse, from Goods In to Dispatch, ensuring a timely service whilst meeting all of our customers’ expectations.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Excellent understanding of written and spoken English, in order to follow written and verbal instructionsGood knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to lift weights in excess of 15kg
Good interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships What will you be doing in this role? Ensures that all relevant company and departmental health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Ensures all tasks are carried out using standard processes and meet set productivity levels
Unpacks deliveries and receives books onto CIS system
Sorts and shelves books by customer bin locations
Prepares picking lists and picks customer orders
Invoices and packs customer orders to meet customer expectations
Demonstrates customer focus by reporting any damaged or missing books, or failures in adhering to standard processes, to line manager
