Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

The position of Class 1 Night Trunk Driver involves:
This will involve trunking palletised loads from South Molton to Birmingham and Lichfield and reload back to South Molton.
You may also be required to cover internal trunking.
Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
C
ompleting daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
Working closely with the network hubs.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver:
Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience of curtain-side trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Working to deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

Salary for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver is between £36,532pa - £41,394pa, (including night shift allowance) and MORE! depending on hours worked.
Hours of work are Monday
Friday, 48 hours per week, shifts starting between 18:00hrs
21:00hrs.
Overtime available, paid at an hourly rate.
