About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Palletised Multidrop Driver to join our Client's team, based out of Heathfield, Newton Abbot. This full-time position involves delivering palletised goods throughout our clients extensive pallet network. You will be working Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, earning £14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliveries:
Efficiently handle multidrop deliveries of palletised goods within the designated delivery areas.
Vehicle Operation:
Safely operate and maintain a Class 2 vehicle in compliance with road safety regulations.
Load Management:
Ensure accurate loading and unloading of pallets, maintaining the integrity and security of the goods.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner with clients at all delivery points.
Documentation:
Complete all required delivery paperwork and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Class 2 Licence:
A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
Experience:
Previous experience in palletised multidrop delivery is preferred.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with delivery routes and geography of the Heathfield, Newton Abbot, and surrounding areas.
Skills:
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Fitness:
Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting and moving pallets.
Certification:
A valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and a current Digital Tachograph Card.
