Position: Key Stage 1 Class Teacher

This outstanding Primary School is seeking a fully qualified and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring young learners to achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 1
  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment in key Stage 1 that promotes positive behaviour and fosters a love of learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enable each child to reach their academic and personal goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building positive relationships and providing regular updates on student progress
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
