About the School
School Improvement Liverpool provides support, advice and guidance for schools to maximise achievement and outcomes for children. We also provide a wide range of training and CPD courses, which can be found online at www.ednet.co/training
About the Role
Required as soon as possible. Clerks provide professional support to school governors to help maximise the performance of school governing bodies, and thus the progress and success of schools. Clerks play a vital organisational and admin support role (including coordinating meetings, preparing agenda, and minuting meetings).Clerks also provide advice on school governance and legal issues.
School governing bodies meet at least three time a year, but usually more often than that. Meeting times can vary from between 9.00am and 7.00pm, so we require people who are able to work flexible hours. The post is sessional and you will be paid according to the number of meetings covered at a rate of £110 per meeting two hour meeting, an additional £25 will be paid for each hour or part thereof in excess of two hours.
