Job Description:

We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager with a solid background in investment management or private banking. Experience with pensions would be of particular interest. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and possess the initiative and capability to operate independently. This role will support the Sales Director in managing the global client base of HNWIs, handle inbound sales inquiries, and foster long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Support the Sales Director in managing and nurturing relationships with existing high net worth clients to ensure overall client satisfaction across the business.
  • Manage investor processes from origination to close, including all contracting, onboarding, and queries.
  • Oversee the CRM system and internal operations.
  • Keep clients updated on company developments and potential new investment opportunities.
  • Deliver educational presentations to advisers about the company’s investment philosophy, competitor research, and analysis.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the investment market and the company’s product offerings.
  • Qualify leads, conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects, and drive client retention and the sales pipeline.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries with professionalism and expertise, converting them into long-term clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present reports on client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics to the Sales Director.
  • Maintain composure under pressure, ensuring high levels of service even during challenging situations.


New Business Generation:

  • Elevate clients to higher value tiers, driving increased revenue and strengthening long-term relationships through tailored upselling strategies.
  • Generate new business opportunities through strategic networking and leveraging the existing client book.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop new leads.
  • Utilise your initiative to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the high net worth segment.


Portfolio Review:

  • Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios and offer recommendations based on market trends and individual client needs.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment management, private banking, or a similar role dealing with high net worth individuals.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, use initiative, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential client information.
