BASE: HEAD OFFICE – LANCASTER

A vacancy as above has arisen in the Client Services Department.. Excellent Excel skills are essential. Full training on the company’s systems including Manpack will be provided. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and experience of managing a small team See brief outline of the duties below:

Reports to: Head of Operations

Main Function of Role:
To supervise the client services team and co-ordinate the requirements placed upon SJ Bargh by contractual and spot hire customers to ensure that customer service levels are exceeded.
 To plan, organise and supervise the client services team ensuring that orders received from clients and customers are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
 To ensure that the client services team maintain constant communication with clients ensuring that updates on current deliveries and upcoming deliveries are passed on.
 To monitor the client services team ensuring that orders are effectively and proactively entered onto the planning platform.
 To be responsible for ensuring that the client services team communicate promptly with the traffic planners on any changes that occur.
 To ensure that the client services team monitor customer complaints, times that orders are received and customer comments to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
 To liaise with the client services team ensuring that all late deliveries and waiting times are communicated to clients in the most timely fashion taking into account the nature of the incident and the time the incident occurred.
 To co-ordinate action by the client services team so that all delays caused by clients and/or receiving points are communicated to the client and all necessary costs are reported to and agreed by the client.
 To attend client meetings as required.
 To review data that has been compiled and transmit data to clients at the agreed times.
 To report on the required KPI’s to the Head of Operations.
